Job Overview:
The Platform Engineering Analyst position at the World Bank Group is a critical role within the Information and Technology Solutions (ITS) Vice Presidential Unit. This role is designed to support the Power Platform service delivery and automation initiatives for a global workforce, focusing on driving efficiency through innovative technological solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable solutions across various platforms, including Dataverse, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Azure App Service. The position requires a collaborative approach, working closely with teams to ensure the delivery of impactful technology solutions that align with the organization's mission of ending extreme poverty and enhancing shared prosperity. Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Platform Engineering Analyst include:

• End-to-End Development: Develop and implement solutions utilizing the full Power Platform stack and Azure-based custom integrations.
• Citizen Development Enablement: Provide guidance and technical support for citizen developers, ensuring they have the necessary tools and knowledge to create effective solutions.
• Integration & Customization: Develop custom connectors and integrate solutions with C#/.NET, REST APIs, and legacy enterprise systems.
• ALM & DevOps: Support the Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) process, including Git source control, CI/CD pipelines, and environment provisioning.
• Governance & Security: Collaborate with security teams to enforce Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies, security best practices, and compliance requirements.
• Platform Resilience: Monitor the capacity, performance, and health of environments to ensure high availability and scalability.
• Strategic Documentation: Contribute to the creation of technical documentation, reusable components, and development best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a strong foundation in platform engineering and automation, with hands-on knowledge of Dataverse, Power Automate (both Cloud and Desktop), Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), and Copilot Studio. A solid understanding of CI/CD pipeline implementation, automated testing, and deployment processes is essential. Additionally, candidates should have a working knowledge of custom plugins, Azure Functions, and Web Apps, along with an understanding of cloud-native architecture and secure API integration. Experience in relational data modeling in Dataverse and ETL workflows is also required, as well as familiarity with environment-level security, role-based access control (RBAC), and organizational compliance.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, such as Information Technology or Computer Science. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in a related role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. For instance, a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree may qualify with a minimum of 1 year of related work experience in the IT field.

Experience:
The position requires candidates to have a demonstrated success in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-grade Power Platform and Azure solutions. Familiarity with the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and modern DevOps practices is crucial. Candidates should also possess analytical skills to troubleshoot flows and integration bottlenecks effectively, showcasing their ability to resolve issues that may arise during the development and implementation of technology solutions.

Languages:
The mandatory language for this position is English, which is essential for effective communication within the organization and with stakeholders. While not required, proficiency in additional languages may be considered an asset, enhancing the candidate's ability to engage with a diverse range of clients and partners.
