Job Overview:
The Tech Volunteer position is designed for individuals who are skilled in technology and are passionate about supporting educational initiatives. Volunteers will play a crucial role in content creation that promotes reading, digital literacy, responsible social media usage, and arts education. The role involves creating engaging content that appeals to both youth and adults, with a focus on utilizing various social media platforms to reach a wider audience. Volunteers will also assist in setting up and facilitating Zoom sessions for art, education, and art therapy exercises, thereby contributing to the overall mission of enhancing educational outreach and mental health support through the arts.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create and curate content that promotes reading, digital literacy, and arts education across various social media platforms including YouTube, Twitter (X), Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Facebook.
• Develop animated videos, Canva graphics, and original content that resonates with the target audience of youth/young adults (ages 13-21) and adults.
• Participate in the organization and facilitation of Zoom sessions focused on art, education, and art therapy exercises.
• Collaborate with other volunteers and team members to ensure the content aligns with the organization's mission and goals.
• Engage with the audience on social media to foster a community around the campaign and encourage participation.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the content and sessions, providing feedback for continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:

• Proficiency in content creation tools such as Canva, video editing software, and social media management platforms.
• Strong understanding of digital literacy and responsible social media usage.
• Experience in arts education or a background in the arts is highly desirable.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with diverse groups.
• A passion for education, reading, and the arts, with a commitment to promoting mental health awareness.

Educational Background:
A background in education, arts, marketing" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">digital marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates should demonstrate a strong interest in the mission of the organization and a willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of the campaign.

Experience:
Previous experience in content creation, digital marketing, or volunteer work in educational or arts-related fields is advantageous. However, individuals with a strong passion for the cause and relevant skills are encouraged to apply, regardless of formal experience.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory, as all content will be created in English. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus and can enhance communication with a broader audience.

This is a volunteer position, and while it is not paid, it offers valuable experience in content creation and educational outreach. The role is flexible and can be done remotely, allowing volunteers to contribute from anywhere.
