Job Overview:
The coordinator" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Finance Coordinator position at NRC Niger is a critical role responsible for overseeing and coordinating financial activities within the organization. The incumbent will support the Financial Manager in implementing financial management systems and procedures, ensuring compliance with NRC's accounting standards and donor requirements. The Finance Coordinator will play a key role in analyzing the financial situation of the country office, monitoring cash flow, and proposing appropriate measures to maintain financial stability. This position requires a proactive approach to financial management, with a focus on ensuring that the country program has sufficient financial resources to operate effectively. The Finance Coordinator will also be involved in preparing project summaries, managing payments, and ensuring timely processing of financial transactions. This role is essential in maintaining the integrity of NRC's financial operations and supporting the organization's mission to assist displaced populations in Niger.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Finance Coordinator will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including but not limited to: supporting the Financial Manager in establishing financial management systems and procedures; ensuring compliance with NRC and donor accounting standards; analyzing the financial situation of the country office; monitoring cash flow and proposing measures to mitigate risks; reviewing and consolidating action points from balance reconciliation reports; preparing project summaries to ensure adequate financial resources; communicating with banks and regional offices to minimize banking risks; disseminating the delegation of authority table; managing country office payments and signatory changes; ensuring timely processing of payments; supervising and guiding finance colleagues; preparing budget variance analyses and providing feedback; verifying payroll status and ensuring timely payments; ensuring compliance with tax regulations; supporting internal and external audits; maintaining budget control and cash flow monitoring; participating in finance staff performance evaluations; ensuring proper archiving of financial documents; verifying partner implementation documentation; and performing any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the Finance Coordinator position must possess a bachelor's or master's degree in finance or a related field. A minimum of two years of professional experience as a Finance Coordinator in a humanitarian context is required. Candidates should have a proven track record of managing financial responsibilities effectively, particularly in complex and unstable environments. Familiarity with financial management tools and software, as well as a good understanding of labor legislation and tax regulations in Niger, is essential. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively in both English and French are also important qualifications for this role. Educational Background:
The educational background required for the Finance Coordinator position includes a bachelor's or master's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
