Job Overview: The HR & AdministrationCoordinator position is crucial for managing the coordination of HR and administrative activities at the country office level. The role involves ensuring compliance with NRC's standards, policies, and procedures, while also providing technical support to managers and ensuring that the HR team is well-trained. Duties and Responsibilities: The HR & Administration Coordinator will implement NRC systems and procedures, ensuring adherence to policies and donor requirements. Responsibilities include preparing and submitting Admin/HR reports, providing technical support to managers, and managing the HR team. Specific duties involve coordinating the employee lifecycle processes such as recruitment, onboarding, training, and separation. The coordinator will supervise HR officers and assistants, maintain employee records, ensure compliance with labor laws, and manage payroll and benefits. Additionally, the role includes liaising with public services, managing contracts, and ensuring effective communication with partners and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications: Candidates should possess 3 to 5 years of experience in HR and administration, with at least 2 years in an NGO or humanitarian organization. Experience in team supervision, multi-site coordination, and internal training facilitation is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications and HRIS/HRMS systems is required, along with knowledge of local labor legislation and personnel regulations. Strong report writing skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity are also necessary for this role.
Educational Background: A relevant degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required. Additional certifications in HR management or related areas will be considered an advantage.
Experience: The position requires a minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional experience in HR and administration, with a preference for candidates who have worked in humanitarian settings. Experience in managing teams and coordinating HR functions across multiple locations is highly desirable.
Languages: Fluency in French is mandatory, while a good command of English is considered a strong asset. Knowledge of local languages is also advantageous for operational effectiveness.
