Job Overview:
The AI Program Manager position at the IRC is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of applying artificial intelligence in the humanitarian sector. This role is pivotal in shaping how the IRC utilizes AI to enhance outcomes for vulnerable populations globally. The AI Program Manager will lead and coordinate significant AI initiatives, ensuring that AI tools are rigorously evaluated and responsibly implemented. Duties and Responsibilities:
The AI Program Manager will oversee AI governance and enterprise AI project management. Responsibilities include managing the intake and documentation of AI use cases, coordinating high-risk reviews, maintaining audit trails, and communicating with stakeholders. The role also involves leading project management for organization-wide AI initiatives, developing project plans, facilitating meetings, and producing status reports for senior leadership. Required Qualifications:
Candidates must have at least 6 years of project management experience in IT or technology-driven environments, with a proven track record of leading complex, multi-stakeholder programs. A Bachelor's degree is required, and experience with AI projects is strongly preferred. Familiarity with international NGOs or global humanitarian organizations is advantageous. Certifications such as PMP or CSM are preferred, demonstrating a commitment to professional project management standards.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor's degree is required for this position, providing a foundational understanding of project management principles and practices. Additional certifications in project management or related fields are highly desirable, as they indicate a higher level of expertise and commitment to the profession.

Experience:
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in project management, particularly in technology-driven environments. Experience leading AI projects, whether in a project management, product, or operational capacity, is strongly preferred. Familiarity with the dynamics of international NGOs or global humanitarian organizations will be beneficial.

Languages:
