This position is ideal for individuals passionate about environmental issues and communication strategies.

Assisting in the development of in-house meeting coverage for the Secretariat's annual meetings, ensuring effective communication of outcomes and discussions.
Supporting the creation of global communication campaigns to commemorate World Ozone Day and the 10th anniversary of the Kigali Amendment, which involves strategic planning and execution of outreach activities.

This includes familiarity with environmental issues and communication strategies, which will be beneficial in executing the responsibilities of the role effectively.

Additionally, fluency in French is also required, while Spanish is considered desirable. Knowledge of any other official UN language, such as Arabic, Chinese, Russian, or additional languages, is an advantage and may enhance the candidate's profile.
Additional Notes: Interns are not financially remunerated by the United Nations, meaning that they will not receive a salary for their work. All costs and arrangements related to travel, visas, accommodation, and living expenses are the responsibility of the interns or their sponsoring institutions.
