Job Overview: The position of Volunteer Graphic Designer and Editorial Layout Coordinator is designed for individuals with a background in graphic design and editorial layout. The volunteer will be responsible for creating visually appealing infographic flyers that effectively communicate the UNODC's messages and initiatives. Duties and Responsibilities: The primary duties and responsibilities of the Volunteer Graphic Designer and Editorial Layout Coordinator include:
Designing infographic flyers that convey complex information in a clear and engaging manner.
Conducting style corrections and ensuring that the content is polished and professional.
Coordinating with the UNODC communication team in Ecuador to gather input and feedback on designs.
Delivering editable files and final versions of flyers for digital dissemination.
Incorporating logos of the initiative and participating state organizations into the designs.
Ensuring that all materials adhere to UNODC branding guidelines and standards.
Participating in team meetings to discuss project progress and share ideas for improvement.
Required Qualifications: Candidates for this position should possess the following qualifications:
Proven experience in graphic design and editorial layout, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) or equivalent tools.
Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics and visual communication.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
Familiarity with the mission and objectives of UNODC and an understanding of the issues related to drugs and crime is an advantage.
