Job Overview:

The Civil Engineer will also contribute to project reporting, documentation, and progress monitoring, ensuring timely delivery of project outputs. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Civil Engineer will be tasked with supporting the effective implementation and delivery of infrastructure projects. Key responsibilities include providing technical expertise in planning, design review, construction supervision, and quality assurance. The incumbent will work closely with the Project Manager and project teams to ensure that infrastructure activities are delivered within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Specific duties include supporting project assessments, preparing bills of quantities (BoQs), cost estimates, technical specifications, and tender documentation. The Civil Engineer will also assist in contractor evaluations and contract management processes. On-site monitoring of construction activities will be essential to ensure compliance with approved designs, engineering standards, and safety requirements. The role involves supervising contractors, verifying work progress, identifying technical issues, and recommending corrective measures. Additionally, the Civil Engineer will contribute to project monitoring, reporting, documentation, and handover processes, ensuring compliance with organizational procedures. Coordination with government counterparts, contractors, consultants, and local authorities is also a key aspect of the role, as is participation in technical discussions and capacity development activities.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess strong civil engineering knowledge and expertise, particularly in construction supervision, design review, and quality assurance.
