Job Overview: The Senior Technical Program Manager (Sr. TPM) will join the Global Technology Operations (GTO) Team, which is dedicated to delivering core technology capabilities through innovation and operational excellence. The primary focus of this role is to strategize, design, and implement productivity and collaboration services that support the Foundation's mission. The Sr. TPM will be responsible for providing structure and leadership across the Foundation’s global collaboration technology ecosystem, ensuring seamless onsite, hybrid, virtual, and event experiences that facilitate effective collaboration among employees and partners across various regions and functional areas. This role is crucial for maintaining program rigor necessary for delivering AV and collaboration capabilities at scale, managing budgets, timelines, project plans, and stakeholder alignment, while translating business needs into actionable delivery plans.
Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Senior Technical Program Manager include overseeing the end-to-end AV-enabled collaboration experience across various countries and offices, identifying gaps in the collaboration experience, and partnering with Operations teams to enhance quality, usability, accessibility, reliability, and security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security. The Sr. TPM will own the service roadmap, standards, and lifecycle planning, defining and evolving the AV service strategy to support high-quality experiences. The role also involves providing strategic oversight for the Foundation’s AV technology ecosystem, driving governance and standardization to ensure a consistent and high-quality global experience. Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree and have a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in technical program management, project management, service management, workplace technology, AV, or IT. They should have experience leading cross-functional programs across operations and engineering teams, along with a solid understanding of enterprise AV and collaboration technologies, including room systems and hybrid meeting environments. The ability to manage program budgets, timelines, risks, and resource planning across multiple concurrent workstreams is essential. Strong communication and presentation skills are required, including the ability to create executive-ready materials and translate technical concepts for diverse audiences. Candidates should also demonstrate the ability to navigate ambiguity, influence without authority, and build consensus among stakeholders.
Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree is required for this position, with a focus on fields related to technical program management, project management, information technology, or a related discipline. Advanced degrees or certifications in project management or related fields may be advantageous but are not mandatory.
Experience: The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of relevant experience in technical program management or related fields.
