Job Overview:
In the role of Global Accounting Services Chief Financial Officer, you will report directly to the CFO and be a vital member of the financial leadership team based in Seattle, WA. This strategic position involves leading global accounting, tax, treasury, payroll, and financial compliance functions for one of the largest private foundations in the world, managing over $89 billion in assets and operations across various international offices. You will oversee significant annual disbursements exceeding $8 billion and ensure financial stewardship aligns with the foundation's mission to improve lives globally. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide executive leadership for global accounting, tax, treasury, payroll, and financial compliance functions.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and country office directors on financial strategy and operational excellence.
• Establish accounting policies and governance standards across international offices.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and local statutory requirements.
• Maintain a strong internal control environment and oversee financial risk management practices.
• Lead the preparation of financial statements, regulatory filings, and audits.
• Oversee monthly and annual close processes and coordinate with auditors.

Required Qualifications:
