Job Overview:
As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will play a crucial role in the Enterprise Business Applications team, specifically focusing on Human Resources and Payroll Applications. Your primary mission will be to leverage digital platforms to enhance the foundation's core operations, thereby accelerating the achievement of its goals and amplifying its global impact. This position will involve collaborating with business partners to build, implement, support, and optimize HR and Payroll processes and systems across various modules, including core HCM, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, Talent, US and Global Payroll, and Workforce Planning. You will utilize your technical expertise and business acumen to streamline processes that support the HR and Payroll functions, particularly in Workday and other related applications. Your responsibilities will encompass leading projects for new features, enhancing existing processes, routine maintenance, and providing end-user support, ensuring that the foundation's HR and Payroll capabilities are robust and effective.

Duties and Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for understanding customer needs and advising on continuous improvement initiatives. You will lead engagements with business partners to analyze changing business requirements and communicate the implications of proposed changes on the system. Your duties will include implementing advanced solutions, assessing security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security changes, evaluating adjacent system impacts, and reporting. You will coordinate efforts across multiple business partners and technology service teams to ensure project goals are met, while also advising on the implications and value of various solution alternatives. Additionally, you will translate business requirements into technical specifications, document design specifications, and ensure a smooth transition of applications to operations. You will also contribute to the product knowledge base to maintain accurate support resources and lead end-to-end project management for assigned projects, collaborating with project managers on larger initiatives. Building trust and positive relationships across the team and the foundation will be essential to drive your work forward, and you will support an inclusive culture by modeling appropriate behaviors and addressing issues promptly.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree along with at least 15 years of relevant experience. Technical certifications related to the specific technology specialization are preferred. Expertise in Workday configuration and support, particularly with implementation experience, is highly desirable. A deep understanding of HR and Payroll business processes is essential, along with a proven track record in business requirements elicitation, functional and non-functional technical requirements translation, options analysis, solutions design, story writing, test planning, change management, and operational support. Experience with implementing non-ERP solutions, including bolt-on applications and system integrations, is also required. Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies, the software development lifecycle, and project management processes is necessary for success in this role.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor’s Degree is required for this position, with a strong preference for candidates who have pursued further education or certifications relevant to business systems analysis, human resources, or payroll applications. The educational background should ideally include coursework or training that aligns with the technical and functional requirements of the role, particularly in areas related to HR technology and systems management.

Experience:
Candidates should have a minimum of 15 years of experience in roles related to business systems analysis, with a focus on HR and Payroll applications. This experience should include a mix of technical and functional roles, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of business processes and the ability to implement technology solutions effectively.
