The Consultant for the GSE Accelerator Programme will play a crucial role in enhancing the readiness of Ghanaian corporates and SMEs for listing on the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE). This position involves conducting a comprehensive diagnostic assessment to identify gaps in listing readiness, designing a structured Accelerator Programme, and developing a curriculum that addresses key areas such as governance, financial reporting, and investor relations. The Consultant will also be responsible for creating a mentorship framework to support participating firms and proposing an operational delivery framework that aligns with GSE listing outcomes. This role is pivotal in facilitating the growth of the capital market in Ghana and supporting SMEs in their financial development.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Consultant will be tasked with several key responsibilities, including: conducting a diagnostic assessment of listing readiness gaps among Ghanaian corporates and SMEs; designing the structure and progression model for a cohort-based Accelerator Programme; developing a practical curriculum focused on governance, financial reporting, disclosure, capital structuring, and investor relations; designing a mentorship and advisory framework to support participant firms; and proposing an operational delivery and monitoring framework aligned with GSE listing outcomes. The Consultant will work under the supervision of the Chief of the Finance and Domestic Resource Mobilization Section, ensuring that all deliverables are met within the expected timeframe.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in capital market development, SME financing, or institutional capacity building. Proven experience in developing corporate or institutional strategies within financial sector institutions is required. Additionally, candidates should have experience designing accelerator or issuer-readiness programmes. Strong knowledge of corporate governance, financial reporting, and capital raising in African markets is desirable. Experience working with international organizations, development partners, or regional economic bodies will be an added advantage.

Educational Background:
