Job Overview: The Partnerships Management Consultant will play a crucial role in supporting UN Women's Private Sector Partnerships Section (PSP) by identifying, cultivating, and managing partnerships with various stakeholders, including corporations, foundations, and individuals. This position involves outreach to prospective partners, conducting due diligence, and contributing to account management efforts that align with PSP's strategic objectives. The consultant will work closely with the Partnerships Engagement and Special Initiatives Advisor and will be responsible for delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment. Duties and Responsibilities: The consultant will support partnership development and resource mobilization efforts by implementing strategies across the PSP portfolio. Responsibilities include drafting concept notes, proposals, and presentations; maintaining partner profiles and stakeholder engagement plans; coordinating with UN Women field offices; assisting with annual reporting processes; planning partner events; conducting due diligence screenings; managing donor records; and performing other duties as required. Additionally, the consultant will manage relationships with existing partners, particularly those involved in the HeForShe initiative, and support the identification of new prospects. The role also involves conducting research on prospective partners, monitoring market trends, and preparing advocacy materials for key meetings and events.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Master's degree in International Development, Business, International Relations, Public Policy, or a relevant social science field. A Bachelor's degree combined with two additional years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a Master's degree. The position requires a minimum of two years of experience in private sector partnerships or a related field, with experience in gender equality and women's empowerment considered an asset. Familiarity with UN Women or other UN agencies is also advantageous.
Educational Background: A Master's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field is required for this position. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree with two additional years of relevant experience may be accepted. The educational background should ideally align with the responsibilities of partnership management and resource mobilization.
Experience: The consultant should have at least two years of experience in private sector partnerships or a related field.
