Job Overview: The Strategy Officer role is pivotal in leading high-impact projects in collaboration with senior program leadership while managing a project team that includes 1-2 associates from the Foundation Strategy Office (FSO). The position involves overseeing strategy development and implementation planning for existing foundation programs, as well as exploring new areas for impact. The Strategy Officer will provide thought partnership, project management, and analytical support to clients across the foundation, ensuring that the strategies developed align with the foundation's mission and objectives. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders to facilitate change management and drive successful outcomes.
Duties and Responsibilities: The Strategy Officer will be responsible for scoping and designing the overall strategy development process, leading strategy development as the primary accountable party for one or more workstreams. This includes employing strategic resources to develop and assess options, applying sound reasoning, and challenging assumptions. The officer will consult closely with internal clients to co-develop and evaluate strategy concepts, facilitate change management, and engage partners using effective communication and relationship management skills.
