Job Overview:
The Associate Event Technical Specialist plays a crucial role in the technical setup, testing, and delivery of both in-person and hybrid events at the EBRD's headquarters and off-site locations. This position is responsible for ensuring that all technical systems are fully operational and that event requirements are met to a high professional standard. The specialist will provide hands-on technical services across various systems, including audiovisual, sound/recording, video conferencing, simultaneous interpretation, and streaming systems. The role requires adaptability to different environments and technical setups, especially during the Bank's flagship events, such as the Annual Meeting. The Associate Event Technical Specialist will work closely with event managers and stakeholders to translate event requirements into effective technical solutions, ensuring a seamless experience for all participants.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Associate Event Technical Specialist include supporting the planning and technical delivery of events, preparing and configuring technical systems prior to events, assisting with the operation of audiovisual and conferencing equipment, and ensuring that all systems function reliably during live events. The specialist will also be responsible for diagnosing and resolving routine technical issues, communicating technical status to stakeholders, and managing post-event activities, including recordings and documentation. Additionally, the role may involve delivering events with enhanced AV and streaming capabilities, requiring the integration of various multimedia sources and ensuring compliance with quality and accessibility standards. The specialist will contribute to the development of streaming workflows and best practices to ensure consistent delivery across events.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the Associate Event Technical Specialist position should possess hands-on experience with live video production and streaming tools, including software-based switching solutions and hardware video switchers. A working knowledge of advanced presentation switching systems and enterprise-scale interpretation infrastructure is also required. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external suppliers, and a commitment to maintaining high technical standards during events. Familiarity with technical rehearsals and pre-event readiness checks is essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
