Job Overview:
The Senior Manager of US Donation Management and Allocation plays a crucial role in ensuring the effective management of donor contributions within the United States. This position is primarily responsible for capturing donor intent, attributing fundraising efforts, and programmatic allocation of private gifts. The role emphasizes the importance of accurate and timely reporting of donation data to the Finance department. The Senior Manager will oversee processes that support these functions, focusing on continuous improvement and alignment between the Finance and BizOps teams. This position requires a strategic mindset to enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance with financial and legal standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Senior Manager will be tasked with ensuring that all gift processing and record-keeping adheres to global financial, legal, credit card, and IRC internal audit standards. This includes managing the confidentiality and security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security of donor data in collaboration with IT and Finance to ensure PCI compliance. The role involves overseeing support cases requested by Fundraisers, establishing and improving workflows for data flow efficiency, and proactively working on data quality improvements. The Senior Manager will maintain records of donations from third-party sites, manage relationships with external gift processing vendors, and lead a team of five, fostering professional development and team spirit. Additionally, the role requires establishing gift processing guidelines, collaborating with fundraising teams, and serving as a BizOps lead partner to Finance for strategic project guidance. The Senior Manager will also assess and improve business processes to support the ER department's priorities and execution strategies, while providing oversight of stakeholder relationship management.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess at least 6 years of direct experience in gift processing within a medium to large not-for-profit organization, along with a minimum of 4 years of supervisory experience leading a team. Experience in managing vendor relationships and enhancing productivity is essential. Candidates should demonstrate a broad knowledge of fundraising systems, workflows, data integrity, financial controls, and legal regulations related to non-profit fundraising. Strong leadership skills, mentoring capabilities, and a collaborative approach are crucial for success in this role. Proven experience with Salesforce or a similar modern CRM, proficiency in Excel and MS Office tools, and SQL query experience are highly desirable. Candidates should also exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills, organizational diligence, and the ability to maintain positive relationships with diverse collaborators.

Educational Background:
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is typically required for this position. Advanced degrees or certifications in non-profit management, finance, or related areas may be preferred. Educational qualifications should reflect a strong foundation in financial management, data analysis, and organizational leadership.

Experience:
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in gift processing, particularly within a non-profit context.
