Job Overview: The Web Developer will play a crucial role in the development, programming, testing, debugging, and implementation of new web application systems, modules, and functionalities. This position requires collaboration with various teams to define and specify user requirements, ensuring that web applications meet organizational standards. The Web Developer will also be responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing web applications, optimizing user experience, and providing training and support to users. The role demands a proactive approach to keeping abreast of technological advancements and applying them to improve web services.
Duties and Responsibilities: The Web Developer's duties include participating in the development and implementation of web applications, conducting testing and debugging, and preparing training materials. They will maintain functional specifications for web applications, provide ongoing support for websites and intranet pages, and optimize user experience. The developer will also create and enhance content management systems, draft communications related to web projects, and serve as a focal point for coordination and technical monitoring of web application systems. Additionally, they will keep up with industry developments and provide guidance to junior staff members.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with formal training or studies in programming, web development, computer science, IT, engineering, or a related area being advantageous.
