Job Overview:
This internship is situated within the Enterprise Solutions Service of the Office of Information and Communications Technology (OICT/ESS) at UNESCAP in Bangkok, Thailand. The position is unpaid and requires a full-time commitment of five days a week, totaling 35 hours. Interns will work under the supervision of a staff member in OICT/ESS, engaging in various tasks that align with their academic background and skills. The internship provides an opportunity to gain practical experience in software development, particularly in writing backend code using C# or Java and frontend code using React. Interns will also utilize AI services via API, deploy and test applications, and participate in team meetings, contributing to the overall goals of the organization while enhancing their technical skills and understanding of the UN's mission.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Interns will have a range of responsibilities that may vary based on their individual backgrounds and skills. Key duties include:

• Writing backend code in C# or Java and frontend code in React.
• Utilizing AI services through APIs to enhance application functionality.
• Deploying applications and conducting thorough testing to ensure quality and performance.
• Committing code to Git for version control and collaboration.
• Participating in weekly spring meetings to discuss progress and challenges.
• Preparing documentation for the applications developed, ensuring clarity and usability.
• Creating demos and presenting applications to an audience, showcasing the work completed during the internship. These responsibilities will help interns develop their technical skills while contributing to the projects undertaken by the OICT/ESS.

Required Qualifications:
