Job Overview:
The Strategy Officer, Innovation Introduction will play a pivotal role within the Global Policy & Advocacy (GPA) division, particularly in the Health Advocacy & Communications Hub. This position is designed to support the Foundation's global advocacy and communications strategy for the introduction of complex health products, specifically novel vector control products aimed at malaria control and elimination. The officer will be responsible for strategic coordination, operational management, and stakeholder alignment across a diverse portfolio that spans global, continental, regional, and country-level efforts. This role is crucial in ensuring that the Foundation's commitments are effectively sequenced and advanced during a critical period for global health initiatives. The Strategy Officer will act as a central mission integrator, ensuring that scientific, policy, advocacy, and country engagement efforts are well-coordinated and responsive to the evolving political and operational landscape.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Strategy Officer will engage in a variety of tasks including strategic analysis and synthesis, where they will monitor the external landscape for policy opportunities and risks, synthesizing insights to inform leadership decisions. They will identify emerging risks and opportunities, contribute to strategy refinement, and design analytical approaches to track decision-relevant indicators. In terms of portfolio coordination and investment management, the officer will manage day-to-day operations related to investments in novel vector control, ensuring alignment with scientific priorities and country realities. They will also facilitate cross-team coordination, ensuring that advocacy and communication activities are integrated and aligned across various levels. The officer will represent the Hub in working groups and prepare high-quality briefings for leadership. Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience, with an advanced degree in public policy, international affairs, global health, communications, or a related field preferred. They should have demonstrated experience in strategy, policy, advocacy, program management, or regulatory systems, ideally within a global health or international development context. Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives with concurrent deliverables is essential, as is familiarity with grant portfolio management. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, along with the ability to synthesize complex information for senior audiences. Candidates should be able to work flexibly and diplomatically in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate the ability to build collaborative relationships across diverse teams and partners.

Educational Background:
