Job Overview: The position of Responsable de Pôle Logistique Energie involves overseeing the implementation of energy standards and electrical safety for Action contre la Faim's country offices in France. This role requires providing technical assistance to these offices, ensuring that they adhere to safety protocols and energy production standards. The successful candidate will coordinate and technically support country offices on electrical safety, energy production reliability, decarbonization of energy sources, and solar photovoltaic systems. Additionally, the role includes contributing to the development of operational teams' skills and managing a functional team of five individuals. Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate and provide technical support to country offices on electrical safety, ensuring compliance with safety standards in programs and logistics.
Assist country offices in energy production, focusing on the reliability of energy sources, decarbonization efforts, and the implementation of photovoltaic solar systems.
Contribute to the development of operational teams' skills through training and support.
Manage a functional team of five, ensuring effective collaboration and performance.
Provide technical assistance to partner NGOs in sharing expertise on energy and human resources.
Oversee the implementation of electrical safety measures in infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Manage project finances and procurement related to energy initiatives.
Conduct field visits to assess energy needs and provide on-site support.
Collaborate with other departments to integrate energy solutions into broader organizational strategies.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must hold a Master's degree in engineering or a specialized technical training in Electricity, Electrotechnics, Energy, Photovoltaics, or HVAC. A solid professional experience of approximately 10 years in a similar context is required, including experience in coordinating electrical safety measures for infrastructure, ensuring electrical compliance, managing electrical work sites, and overseeing preventive electrical maintenance within an international NGO. Previous experience as a technical trainer is also essential. Humanitarian field experience and/or experience in electrical studies are considered assets. Candidates should possess skills in human resource management, project management, financial management, and procurement related to projects.
Educational Background: A Master's degree in engineering or a specialized technical field related to electricity, electrotechnics, energy, photovoltaics, or HVAC is required for this position. This educational background ensures that candidates have the necessary technical knowledge and skills to effectively manage energy-related projects and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Experience: Candidates should have approximately 10 years of professional experience in a similar role, particularly within the context of international NGOs. This experience should include coordinating electrical safety measures, managing compliance with electrical standards, overseeing electrical work sites, and conducting preventive maintenance. Experience in training and developing technical skills in teams is also important, as is any humanitarian field experience or work in electrical studies.
Languages: Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is mandatory for this position. Proficiency in additional languages may be considered an asset, enhancing communication with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Additional Notes: The position is classified as a managerial role (Cadre Intégré) and is a full-time permanent contract (CDI). The workplace is located in Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis). The salary ranges from €41,000 to €50,000 gross annually, depending on experience, with an additional seniority bonus after three years of service. Employees are entitled to 25 days of paid leave and 21 RTT days per year. Health coverage is provided, with 80% of costs covered by Action contre la Faim. There are also provisions for salary maintenance during illness, maternity, and paternity leave. Transportation costs are partially reimbursed, and meal vouchers are provided. Telecommuting is available for all employees, with no mandatory in-person attendance except for collective meetings and events, which are limited to three days per month. New hires are required to attend two days of in-person orientation. Employees have unlimited access to the e-learning platform Talentsoft for training and development. The role may involve field travel as needed.
