Job Posting Organization: UNICEF Perú is dedicated to ensuring that all children, adolescents, and young people in Peru have the opportunity to exercise their rights. The organization focuses on addressing inequalities that particularly affect rural populations in the Andean and Amazonian regions, as well as those living in peri-urban environments. UNICEF has prioritized its presence in two Amazonian regions: Ucayali and Loreto; one Andean region: Huancavelica; and a district in Lima: Carabayllo. The mission of UNICEF is to ensure the well-being and protection of the most vulnerable children in the country, with a special emphasis on health, education, child protection, and emergency response. To ensure the continuity and expansion of these programs, sustainablefinancial resources are essential for achieving operational self-sufficiency in the medium and long term. The organization has successfully maintained its income primarily through the recruitment of individual donors via the Face to Face (F2F) channel, supported by specialized external agencies. This strategy is executed by trained teams with a highly commercial profile, operating in public and private spaces such as streets, shopping centers, fairs, and events, both in Lima and various regions of Peru. Additionally, itinerant trips within the country are planned to expand the reach of fundraising efforts. The work of these teams involves raising public awareness about the urgent needs of children in Peru and inviting individuals to become recurring donors. The F2F channel has proven to be a highly effective tool, allowing for sustained growth of the donor base, which is crucial for financing UNICEF's programs and operations in the country. In this context, UNICEF Peru is in need of implementing a pilot project in collaboration with United Nations Volunteers (UNV) under the 'Social Champion' initiative, aimed at engaging committed, motivated, and passionate individuals for the recruitment of new individual donors. The proposal includes forming a team of four fundraisers and one team leader, experienced in fundraising, especially through the F2F channel, to not only expand the base of recurring donors but also strengthen the capacity to effectively manage an internal team, thereby contributing to financial sustainability.
