Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Asistente Técnico de Logística include managing procurement and contracts by supporting administrative purchasing procedures, which involves receiving purchase requests, assisting in the preparation of quotations and analysis of offers, preparing and sending purchase orders, receiving goods and services, processing payment requests, and preparing purchase requisitions (PRs). The candidate will maintain an updated database of suppliers and assist in monitoring and controlling administrative contracts related to office leases, utilities, and maintenance services. Additionally, the role requires maintaining a physical and electronic filing system for all procurement documentation, supporting logistical activities for the office, managing inventory of office equipment and supplies, and ensuring the security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security of these assets. The candidate will also manage transportation logistics, ensuring efficient vehicle allocation for programs, and assist in inventory management in the warehouse. Other responsibilities include supporting audits related to procurement, warehouse management, asset management, and fleet operations, preparing donor reports, and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) in logistics processes. The candidate will also provide information for project budgeting based on market studies and perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor to meet the objectives of the position.

Required Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Asistente Técnico de Logística position should possess a professional background in economic sciences, business administration, logistics management, international business, or related fields. A minimum of two years of experience in similar roles is required, preferably within humanitarian contexts or volunteer settings.
