Job Overview:
The role of Asistente Técnico de ICLA is crucial for the implementation of field activities and case management within the Information, Counseling, and Legal Assistance (ICLA) framework, aligned with NRC Honduras's programmatic strategy. The position involves providing legal support and assistance in areas such as forced displacement processes, refugee status acquisition, civil documentation, employment rights, housing, land and property rights, and access to essential services. The Asistente Técnico will work closely with beneficiaries in both office settings and community outreach, ensuring that individuals receive the necessary legal guidance and support to navigate their challenges effectively. This role requires active participation in planning, executing, and monitoring local NRC activities in collaboration with team leaders and coordinators, ensuring that the programmatic strategy is adhered to and that beneficiaries receive timely and effective assistance.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Asistente Técnico de ICLA will be responsible for implementing information, counseling, and legal assistance activities for beneficiaries both in the office and in the community. Key responsibilities include: actively participating in the planning, execution, and monitoring of NRC activities at the local level; coordinating and executing outreach activities for internally displaced persons and those in need of international protection; identifying, documenting, and managing cases in collaboration with key stakeholders; conducting case management activities to facilitate access to rights in assigned ICLA themes; preparing necessary legal documents; providing inputs for the design of legal strategies and ICLA activities; supporting the training of public officials and other organizations; maintaining updated databases of beneficiaries; preparing monthly quantitative and narrative reports; ensuring compliance with project objectives and indicators; contributing to NRC's strategic processes; coordinating with administrative areas regarding procurement and contracting processes; and representing NRC in relevant local institutional spaces as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must have a minimum of one year of experience in similar roles, preferably within humanitarian contexts. They should demonstrate documented results related to the responsibilities of the position. Specific skills and knowledge required include a university degree in Law, familiarity with the operational and security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security context where NRC operates, experience in providing legal information and assistance at the individual case level, and skills in interviewing techniques for victims. Additionally, candidates should possess strong information management and reporting skills, knowledge of international and national regulations related to human rights, forced displacement, international protection, refugee status, legal identity, housing, land and property rights, and employment. Understanding the state structure and public policy for the care of violence victims and those in need of international protection is essential, as is experience working with vulnerable groups and sensitivity to conflict.

Educational Background:

Experience:
The position requires at least one year of relevant experience in similar roles, particularly in humanitarian settings. Languages:
