Job Overview:
The position of Voluntarios/as en Línea is crucial for supporting the coordination and follow-up of activities promoted by the National Committee established in Bolivia for the International Year of Volunteering for Sustainable Development 202
  • This initiative, led by the Office of the First Lady in collaboration with PNUD and Voluntarios ONU, aims to coordinate and promote activities related to volunteerism and sustainable development. The volunteers will play a significant role in strengthening inter-institutional coordination, organizing meetings, and systematizing strategic information, thereby contributing to the overall success of the initiative.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The selected volunteers will engage in various activities, which will be distributed among them to ensure a balanced workload. Responsibilities include: - Coordinating and following up on the National Committee's activities - Assisting in the organization and coordination of meetings - Monitoring agreements and activities of the committee - Preparing minutes and brief reports - Facilitating inter-institutional communication and articulation - Identifying stakeholders and best practices in national volunteerism - Creating and consolidating databases - Coordinating with civil society actors, academia, the private sector, and public entities - Supporting the dissemination of information and calls for participation - Drafting messages and institutional communications - Systematizing and providing organizational support - Organizing databases and timelines - Documenting activities conducted in the context of the International Year - Assisting in the planning of commemorative events and activities.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates should possess strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. They should demonstrate a commitment to volunteerism and sustainable development, as well as the capacity to engage with diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in project management and data management is also essential.

Educational Background:
A background in social sciences, international relations, development studies, or a related field is preferred. Candidates should have a solid understanding of volunteerism and its impact on sustainable development.

Experience:
Experience in project coordination, volunteer management, or related fields is highly desirable. Candidates should have a proven track record of working in collaborative environments and managing multiple tasks effectively.

Languages:
Fluency in Spanish is mandatory, given the local context. Proficiency in English or other languages is considered an asset, enhancing communication with international partners and stakeholders.
