Job Overview:
The Health Project Lead is responsible for driving the implementation of health projects in Gaza, ensuring that all activities align with project goals. This role involves leading and facilitating project implementation by engaging with consortium partners and coordinating with other health actors within the cluster and technical working groups. The Health Project Lead will supervise the technical team and coordinate with support teams to ensure timely delivery of project supplies. Collaboration with the Area Director is crucial for the timely execution of program activities, while ongoing technical support from the Technical Advisor is essential for quality improvement. The role also includes regular engagement with stakeholders, including RI partners, donors, and other humanitarian actors, to identify health and nutrition needs and design appropriate interventions that can be adapted to changing circumstances.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Health Project Lead will oversee project implementation and management by working closely with the program team to develop a project work plan and ensure its execution with partners. Responsibilities include supervising project coordinators, ensuring regular supportive supervision of RI-supported projects, and coordinating with implementing partners for smooth activity execution. The role also involves ensuring adherence to RI quality benchmarks and protocols, timely procurement and delivery of project materials, and participation in project development activities such as needs assessments and project design. The Health Project Lead will represent RI in health clusters and technical working groups, engaging in discussions about service quality, clinical standards, and secondary health care priorities. Additionally, the role includes providing technical support and capacity building for RI partners, organizing trainings, conducting technical capacity assessments, and mentoring facility teams on clinical protocols and quality improvement actions. Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, with a Master’s degree in Public Health considered an asset. Significant clinical experience in secondary health care and program management experience with international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) are essential. Fluency in Arabic and proficiency in English are required, along with strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills. Excellent organizational and project management abilities are necessary, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Desirable qualifications include a Master’s degree in Public Health, experience in clinical quality assurance, supportive supervision, and knowledge of clinical protocols and patient safety standards.

Educational Background:
The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine as a minimum educational qualification. A Master’s degree in Public Health is highly desirable and would enhance a candidate's suitability for the role, providing a deeper understanding of public health principles and practices that are critical for effective project management in health settings.

Experience:
