Duties and Responsibilities:

The incumbent will assist in the creation of multimedia content, manage the distribution of communications materials, and ensure high-quality standards in all outputs. The role may also require field missions to support media engagements and public outreach initiatives. Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the Communications Associate position must possess a minimum of three years of relevant experience with a High School Diploma, or two years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree or higher. Essential qualifications include excellent computer skills, proficiency in MS Office applications, and strong drafting abilities. Desirable qualifications include experience in implementing communication strategies, professional writing and editing skills, and familiarity with advocacy campaigns. Educational Background:

  • The position is full-time and requires candidates to have Moldovan citizenship or the legal status necessary to work in Moldova. UNHCR offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including an annual net salary range between MDL 391,078 and MDL 456,258, depending on relevant experience. Staff members will accrue annual leave at a rate of 2.5 working days for each full calendar month of service, and will be enrolled in the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund (UNJSPF).
