Job Overview:
The ET Consultant (Transformation Management Officer) plays a crucial role within the World Bank Group's Information and Technology Solutions (ITS) Vice Presidency. This position is designed to support the acceleration of governance, tools, and services adoption across the ITSAE portfolio, with a particular emphasis on AI/data platforms and responsible use practices. The Transformation Management Officer is responsible for planning and executing change strategies, building stakeholder readiness, and equipping champions and stakeholders to sustain behavior change. This role also involves supporting the AI Studio through various campaigns and engagement initiatives, thereby reducing implementation risks, increasing stakeholder engagement, and shortening the time to value during a critical growth phase. The position requires a proactive approach to strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement, ensuring that the World Bank Group's mission of ending extreme poverty and boosting shared prosperity is effectively supported through technology and data-driven solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Transformation Management Officer will be tasked with a variety of key responsibilities, including:
  • Strategic Planning: Developing and executing engagement strategies for priority initiatives such as AI Studio rollouts and responsible AI governance updates. Conducting stakeholder analyses and change impact assessments to define personas and targeted interventions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Planning and facilitating engagement activities, including roadshows, demos, and town halls, while providing coaching to leaders and product owners. Supporting communities of practice and champion networks to sustain adoption and peer support. Coordinating training handoffs and aligning change plans with curricula and reference support. Designing and delivering campaigns and content in collaboration with communications and product teams.
  • Analytics and Continuous Improvement: Establishing adoption metrics and feedback loops to monitor activation, usage, satisfaction, and compliance adherence. Identifying and mitigating risks and managing issues across governance, security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security, legal, and product workstreams. Producing concise status reports and contributing to playbooks and reusable change assets for future initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the ET Consultant position must possess a Master’s degree along with at least 8 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency in structured change management frameworks such as Prosci/ADKAR or Kotter is essential, along with the ability to tailor methodologies to the organizational context. Strong facilitation and coaching skills are required to design and deliver engagement activities, influence stakeholders, and drive consensus. Additionally, candidates should have a solid understanding of communications strategy and content development, with the ability to create compelling messaging for complex policy or platform changes. Proficiency in defining and tracking adoption metrics and translating data into actionable insights is also necessary.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a Master’s degree in a relevant field, which may encompass areas such as business administration, information technology, or organizational development. This advanced degree should be complemented by substantial professional experience that aligns with the responsibilities of the Transformation Management Officer role.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in change management, stakeholder engagement, and technology adoption. Candidates should demonstrate a proven track record of successfully implementing change initiatives within complex organizational environments, particularly in the context of technology and data-driven projects.
