Job Overview: The primary objective of this position is to contribute to the development of fundraising and commitment collection, as well as fundraising for the Action contre la Faim Foundation for Research and Innovation. The intern will participate in the operational management of fundraising marketing campaigns and the Foundation (including mailings, emailings, and phone calls). Responsibilities include managing advertising space reservations in collaboration with agencies, following up on information requests regarding fundraising, and analyzing marketing performance for both fundraising and the Foundation. The role also involves monitoring innovations and maintaining relationships with testers, donors, and foundations. Duties and Responsibilities: The intern will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:
Participating in the operational management of fundraising marketing campaigns, which includes planning and executing mailings, emailings, and phone calls.
Managing advertising space reservations in collaboration with relevant agencies and ensuring effective communication.
Following up on information requests related to fundraising and providing timely responses to prospects.
Analyzing marketing performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of fundraising efforts and making recommendations for improvement.
Conducting market research to identify trends and innovations in fundraising and maintaining relationships with testers, donors, and foundations.
Collaborating with team members to brainstorm and implement new marketing strategies that align with the organization's mission.
Required Qualifications: Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
A higher education background in marketing or communication.
A minimum of one year of professional experience in marketing and communication, which can include internships.
Strong writing skills and an excellent ability to synthesize information.
Proficiency in basic marketing analysis and familiarity with marketing tools.
Comfort with computer tools, particularly Excel, and knowledge of communication tools such as Canva, InDesign, or Figma is a significant advantage.
A genuine interest in the charitable sector and a commitment to the organization's mission.
Educational Background: The ideal candidate should have a higher education degree in marketing, communication, or a related field. This educational background will provide the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively contribute to the organization's marketing and communication efforts.
Experience: The position requires at least one year of professional experience in marketing and communication. This experience can include internships or relevant work experience that demonstrates the candidate's ability to perform the duties outlined in the job description.
Languages: Fluency in French is mandatory for this position, as all communications and marketing materials will be in French. Proficiency in English or other languages would be considered a plus, as it may enhance communication with international partners and stakeholders.
Additional Notes: This position is offered as an apprenticeship or professionalization contract, with a duration of 12 months. The work schedule includes three days of training per week, with two to three weeks of training each month. The position is based in Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis), and the salary is based on the legal minimum, adjusted according to age and level of education, paid over 13 months. Employees are entitled to 21 days of RTT (reduced working time) prorated based on presence, and 25 days of paid vacation also prorated. Health coverage is provided at 80% by Action contre la Faim, and transportation costs are reimbursed at 50% between home and work. The organization also offers meal vouchers with a 60% contribution from the association (valued at 8 euros), 170 euros per year for social works, and discounts on cinema tickets. Remote work is available, with a policy that allows for full or partial telecommuting, although a minimum presence of four days per month at the headquarters is required for meetings and collective events, with two days of mandatory presence per week during the first six weeks for team integration.
