Job Overview:
The position of ET Consultant - Emergency Preparedness and Response is crucial for the World Bank's efforts in enhancing the capacities of low and middle-income countries to prepare for and respond to emergencies. Duties and Responsibilities:

Specific duties include overseeing the design and implementation of crisis preparedness activities, managing strategic partnerships, and contributing to programmatic outputs such as results monitoring and reporting. Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree or higher in disaster risk management, emergency management, public policy, or a related field. A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in emergency preparedness and response is required, with significant field-based experience preferred. Demonstrated expertise in various EP&R domains, such as emergency preparedness systems, incident command systems, and multi-hazard risk preparedness, is essential. The ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative data, develop diagnostics, and translate findings into actionable recommendations is also necessary. Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working with governments in developing countries are critical for success in this role.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a Master’s degree or higher in relevant fields such as disaster risk management, emergency management, or public policy. Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 8 years of professional experience in emergency preparedness and response.
