Job Overview:
The ET Consultant (ERP S/4 Business Analyst) position is integral to the World Bank Group's Information and Technology Solutions (ITS) Vice Presidential Unit. This role focuses on supporting the transition of the ERP system from ECC to S/4HANA as part of Project Aria, which aims to modernize the finance ERP. The consultant will be involved in various phases of the project, including testing, user acceptance, and ensuring production readiness. The position requires a proactive approach to improving business processes within SAP S/4HANA and involves preparing functional specifications for enhancements and custom developments. The consultant will also coordinate with various teams, support user training, and educate users on the capabilities of SAP S/4HANA relevant to their business processes. This role is essential for ensuring that the World Bank Group can effectively leverage its new ERP system to enhance operational efficiency and support its mission.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the ET Consultant include:
  • Supporting the current ERP transition testing, user acceptance, and production readiness.
  • Assisting in the ongoing improvement of business processes in SAP S/4HANA.
  • Preparing functional specifications for enhancements and custom developments.
  • Coordinating with developers, integration teams, security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security teams, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Testing configured solutions before their release to ensure they meet business requirements.
  • Supporting user training and adoption activities to facilitate a smooth transition to the new system.
  • Educating users on the capabilities of SAP S/4HANA that are relevant to their specific business processes, ensuring they can utilize the system effectively.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Master's degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree with at least 7 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Additionally, candidates should have a strong understanding of the World Bank Group's organization and operations, particularly how technology is utilized across different sectors. Knowledge of WBG Trust fund processes in the ERP is specifically required. The ability to multi-task and operate effectively in a matrix management and high-pressure environment is essential, along with experience in SAP S/4HANA functional testing, defect resolution, and process validation. Candidates should also have experience in preparing functional specifications for enhancements and custom developments, and the ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with various stakeholders.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline, along with significant professional experience. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in a similar field combined with extensive relevant experience is acceptable. The educational qualifications should provide a solid foundation in both technical and business aspects of ERP systems, particularly SAP S/4HANA.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience for candidates with a Master's degree, or at least 7 years of relevant experience for those with a Bachelor's degree. This experience should include a strong focus on ERP systems, particularly SAP S/4HANA, and familiarity with functional testing, defect resolution, and process validation. Candidates should also have experience in preparing functional specifications and working in a collaborative environment with various teams and stakeholders.

Languages:
The mandatory language for this position is English, which is essential for communication within the World Bank Group and with its stakeholders.
