Job Overview: The ERP Business Analyst will play a crucial role in translating business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements for the ERP team. This position involves documenting and presenting these requirements in accordance with ERP team procedures. The analyst will also prepare statements of benefits for business cases related to functionality and change requests in applications. Acting as a focal point between the ERP team and various departments, the analyst will consolidate and prioritize change requests, set severity levels for fix requests, and clarify questions and concerns between departments and IT teams. The role includes monitoring and supporting the effective operation of HR information systems, including ERP (Dynamics 360/Sapience), HR Database, Payroll Systems, and more. The analyst will work closely with IT and data engineering teams to ensure data quality and integrity, maintain HR data privacy policies, and develop reporting analytics to support robust reporting capabilities. Additionally, the analyst will maintain and update Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for various HR sub-areas and prepare supporting documents for HR data audit requests.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements for the ERP team, documenting and presenting these requirements following ERP team procedures.
Prepare statements of benefits for business cases related to functionality and change requests in applications.
Consolidate and prioritize all change requests and set severity levels for fix requests to be submitted to the IT team.
Serve as a bridge to clarify questions and concerns between departments and IT teams.
Act as a focal point for HR in the implementation of ERP Human Resources and related systems.
Monitor and support the effective operation of HR information systems, including ERP, HR Database, Payroll Systems, and others.
Work closely with IT and data engineering teams to ensure data availability, quality, and integrity.
Maintain HR data privacy policies and set rules for data access to different HRIS modules.
Develop reporting analytics through data handling for accurate reporting capabilities. 1
Maintain and update KPIs for various HR sub-areas and report on these as required. 1
Prepare supporting documents for HR data audit requests, ensuring data accuracy and integrity across all systems.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, or related fields is preferred.
Professional certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA (Project Management Institute - Professional in Business Analysis) are considered an asset.
Experience working in cross-functional teams, particularly bridging business and IT functions, is desirable.
Familiarity with enterprise systems, including ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle), HRIS, or financial software is advantageous.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex business issues into clear, structured problems and define effective solutions.
Experience in data analysis to evaluate processes and support decision-making.
Solid understanding of departmental applications and their functionalities, along with knowledge of departmental processes and interdependencies with other areas.
Familiarity with workflows, corporate compliance rules, and operational needs.
Basic understanding of IT systems, databases, and software development life cycles. 1
Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Excel, Visio, Jira, or similar software for process mapping and requirement tracking. 1
Project management competencies are essential for the role.
Educational Background: The selected candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, or related fields. This educational background is essential to understand the complexities of business processes and the technical requirements needed to support them effectively.
Experience: The ideal candidate should have experience working in cross-functional teams, particularly in roles that bridge business and IT functions. Familiarity with enterprise systems, including ERP and HRIS, is highly desirable. The candidate should also have experience in data analysis and a solid understanding of departmental applications and their functionalities.
Languages: English is mandatory and will be tested, with a minimum required score of C1 on the CEFR scale. Proficiency in additional languages may be considered an advantage, but English is the primary language for this position.
