Job Overview:
The position of Online Volunteer for the Workforce and HR Operations Dashboard at WFP's Caribbean Multi-Country Office is designed to enhance the organization's HR data analytics capabilities. The role involves collaborating with the HR Officer to identify business needs and relevant data requirements for workforce and HR operations. The volunteer will be responsible for structuring a clean dataset and developing an interactive dashboard using Power BI. This dashboard will serve as a vital tool for management and stakeholders, providing visual access to workforce statistics and HR operational data, thereby facilitating informed decision-making. The overall goal is to improve transparency, compliance monitoring, and evidence-based decision-making related to workforce planning, performance management, learning requirements, and recruitment processes. The position is integral to establishing a sustainable reference tool for ongoing HR operations and management oversight within the Multi-Country Office.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Human Resources Officer to understand the specific business needs and identify the relevant workforce and HR operations data requirements.
  • Support the development and structuring of a clean and consistent dataset table based on agreed indicators that reflect the necessary HR metrics.
  • Design and develop an interactive and user-friendly dashboard using Power BI to visualize workforce and HR operational data effectively.
  • Ensure that the dashboard is functional, intuitive, and meets the needs of management and key stakeholders.
  • Deliver a finalized dataset and a fully functional dashboard to the HR Unit, ensuring that all components are thoroughly tested and validated.
  • Provide ongoing support and updates to the dashboard as needed, based on feedback from users and changes in HR operational requirements.

Required Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, particularly Power BI.
  • Strong understanding of HR operations and workforce management metrics.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with HR personnel and stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.

Educational Background:
