Job Overview: The UN Volunteer - Digital Fundraising Specialist will be responsible for designing and executing a Paid Media strategy aimed at conversion and generating potential leads. This includes managing campaigns on platforms such as Meta Ads and Google Ads, with a focus on audience segmentation, defining objectives, and selecting advertising formats. The specialist will continuously analyze KPIs of the digital funnel to identify optimization opportunities that enhance conversion rates and advertising investment efficiency. Additionally, the role involves generating data-driven insights regarding the performance of digital content and providing recommendations to the Marketing Services team on messaging, formats, creative styles, and elements that maximize conversion. The specialist will also design, implement, and optimize automated communication strategies to guide potential donors through the sales funnel, transforming passive databases into consistent revenue streams and loyal customers. Furthermore, the role includes developing Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) initiatives through testing variables in campaigns, conversion pages, and communication journeys, as well as constructing performance analyses and reports using data visualization tools like Looker Studio and Power BI to facilitate data-driven decision-making within the digital fundraising team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Design and execute a Paid Media strategy focused on conversion and lead generation, managing campaigns on platforms such as Meta Ads and Google Ads, including audience segmentation, objective definition, and advertising format selection.
Continuously analyze digital funnel KPIs, identifying optimization opportunities to improve conversion rates and advertising investment efficiency.
Generate data-driven insights on digital content performance, providing recommendations to the Marketing Services team regarding messaging, formats, creative styles, and elements that maximize conversion.
Design, implement, and optimize automated communication strategies to guide potential donors through the sales funnel, converting passive databases into consistent revenue streams and loyal customers.
Develop Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) initiatives through testing variables in campaigns, conversion pages, and communication journeys.
Build performance analyses and reports using data visualization tools (Looker Studio, Power BI, or others), facilitating data-driven decision-making within the digital fundraising team.
Required Qualifications: The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, creativity, and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances. They should demonstrate accountability, professionalism, and self-management. The candidate must have experience in digital marketing, particularly in managing paid media campaigns, and should be proficient in data analysis and visualization tools. Familiarity with fundraising strategies and donor engagement techniques is also essential. Additionally, the candidate should have excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field is required. Advanced degrees or certifications in digital marketing or fundraising will be considered an asset.
Experience: Candidates should have at least 2-3 years of experience in digital marketing, specifically in managing paid media campaigns and analyzing digital performance metrics. Experience in fundraising or working with non-profit organizations is highly desirable.
Languages: Fluency in Spanish is mandatory, and proficiency in English is considered a strong asset. Knowledge of additional languages may be beneficial but is not required.
Additional Notes: This is a full-time position as a UN Volunteer, and candidates must not have any employment ties with other entities during their service. The role offers a monthly living allowance of PEN 7,013 to cover housing and living expenses, along with additional entry and assignment completion allowances. Health insurance, including dental coverage for up to three dependents, is provided, as well as annual leave, medical leave, and parental leave. The position also includes reimbursement for national travel costs to the duty station and other benefits related to relocation and repatriation.
