Job Overview: The internship aims to provide a structured and qualifying professional experience in support of human resources functions, enhancing organizational, analytical, and professional skills in an international environment. This internship is part of the Women's Excellence and Inclusion Program, focusing on improving employability for youth, particularly young women and persons with disabilities, by exposing them to UNICEF's professional standards and diverse work environments, including connections to the private sector. The intern will support the Human Resources section in planning, implementing, and monitoring activities while gaining practical experience within an international organization dedicated to promoting and protecting children's rights.
Duties and Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Human Resources Manager, the intern will provide administrative, organizational, and technical support to the People & Culture section. Responsibilities include assisting with recruitment and talent management, preparing and monitoring recruitment processes (posting job notices, tracking applications, organizing interviews), communicating with candidates at various stages, supporting personnel administration (preparing administrative documents, updating HR databases), monitoring HR reporting, tracking staff leave and absences, contributing to the development of HR dashboards and statistics, updating office organizational charts, organizing training activities, and providing logistical support for workshops and training sessions. The intern will also assist with daily administrative tasks and document management (filing, archiving, organizing files) and perform any other related tasks assigned by the hierarchy.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must be aged between 18 and 25 years, with a particular emphasis on young women and persons with disabilities. The internship is inclusive, promoting gender equality and the inclusion of persons with disabilities. Candidates should be currently enrolled in a BTS, Bachelor's, or Master's program in Human Resource Management, Administration, Management, Law, or Social Sciences (minimum Bac+2).

Additional Notes: The intern will be supervised by the Human Resources Manager/People & Culture. The position is primarily based in Conakry, with potential missions in other regions. UNICEF will cover mission expenses outside the intervention area (transport, per diem) according to procedures. The internship lasts for 13 weeks and is full-time. A monthly stipend will be provided in accordance with UNICEF procedures. The intern must subscribe to health/accident insurance covering the internship period. The intern can take up to 2.5 days off per month for any reason, including medical reasons, with stipends reduced for absences beyond this quota. The quota is cumulative over the internship duration, but there will be no compensation or carryover for unused leave days at the end of the internship. The internship is not considered employment, and the intern must not have any immediate family members (e.g., parent, sibling) working at UNICEF. This internship is reserved for nationals.
