Job Overview:
The position of Online Volunteer for the Digital, AI and Innovation Hub at UNDP involves supporting the development of communication materials related to the Hamburg Declaration on Responsible Artificial Intelligence. This role is crucial in promoting the responsible use of AI for sustainable development. The volunteer will be tasked with designing a comprehensive brief on the Hamburg Sustainability Conference and the AI Declaration, which should be up to 15 pages long. Additionally, the volunteer will create 10 social media assets tailored for platforms such as LinkedIn and X to enhance UNDP's visibility and engagement during the conference. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to significant global discussions on AI and sustainability while gaining valuable experience in digital communication and design.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Design a detailed brief on the Hamburg Sustainability Conference and the AI Declaration, ensuring it is informative and visually appealing, with a maximum length of 15 pages.
  • Create 10 engaging social media assets for LinkedIn and X that effectively communicate UNDP's participation in the Hamburg Sustainability Conference and promote the AI Declaration.
  • Collaborate with UNDP teams to gather necessary information and insights for the brief and social media content.
  • Ensure all materials align with UNDP's branding and messaging guidelines.
  • Provide feedback and revisions based on input from UNDP staff and stakeholders.
  • Assist in the dissemination of the materials through appropriate channels to maximize reach and impact.

Required Qualifications:
  • Strong design skills with proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
