  • Interns will be expected to support various initiatives of the UN Office for Partnerships, contributing to research, project implementation, and communication efforts related to the Sustainable Development Goals. Duties and Responsibilities:
Interns will have a diverse set of responsibilities that may include conducting research on Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) initiatives, drafting correspondence and background notes, and utilizing AI tools for productivity enhancement. They will assist in the planning and execution of events and projects, review project reports (both narrative and financial), and draft communications for project partners. Additionally, interns will be involved in tracking project negotiations and implementations, maintaining databases, and participating as note-takers during UN conferences and meetings. They will also support the creation of outreach materials and assist the front office with various tasks as required. This role is dynamic, and responsibilities may evolve based on the needs of the office and the intern's skills.

Required Qualifications:
To qualify for this internship, applicants must meet specific criteria set by the United Nations Headquarters Internship Programme. Candidates should be enrolled in a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent) or in the final academic year of a university degree programme (minimum Bachelor's level). Alternatively, applicants who have recently graduated with a university degree are also eligible. Those pursuing studies in countries where higher education does not differentiate between undergraduate and graduate stages must have completed at least four years of full-time studies at a university or equivalent institution. Additionally, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in standard software applications and AI tools, possess a keen interest in the UN's work, and show a commitment to the ideals of the UN Charter. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds are essential.

Educational Background:
