Job Overview:
The Senior Solutions Architect for Murex Operations and Finance will play a critical role in leading the implementation and enhancement of the Murex platform within the World Bank Group's Information and Technology Solutions (ITS) Vice Presidency. This position requires a deep understanding of finance and operations, as the architect will be responsible for capturing requirements from various stakeholders and translating them into technical configurations that align with business needs. The role involves managing resources effectively to ensure that the Murex platform operates smoothly and meets the evolving requirements of the organization. The architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain the integrity of the end-to-end trade lifecycle, ensuring that all changes to the system are stable and do not disrupt ongoing operations. This position is essential for driving the organization's mission of enhancing financial operations agility and supporting its core finance and risk functions.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Senior Solutions Architect include leading the Operations and Finance stream in the end-to-end implementation of the Murex platform, managing enhancements and providing ongoing support. The architect will work closely with operations and finance teams to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical configurations that can be implemented across various systems. Additionally, the architect will oversee the delivery of stable builds that meet business requirements, ensuring that changes to the production environment do not introduce regressions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Risk, Front Office, and IT, is crucial to ensure the integrity of the trade lifecycle. The architect will also be responsible for troubleshooting configuration issues and providing analytical support to enhance system performance.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the Senior Solutions Architect position must possess a Master's degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A strong understanding of project management methodologies, particularly those implemented under the Agile Framework, is essential. Candidates should also have a comprehensive knowledge of Forex, Money Markets, Derivatives, Bonds, and Securities Finance products, including their trade lifecycle and accounting schemas. Familiarity with SWIFT messages for various Treasury products, as well as in-depth knowledge of derivative clearing, CLS settlement, confirmation matching, collateral management, and security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security statistics, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of Murex workflows and the ability to utilize them to meet business requirements effectively.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Finance, Information Technology, or Business Administration, or a Bachelor's degree with significant experience in a related area. The educational qualifications should reflect a strong foundation in finance and technology, enabling the candidate to understand complex financial products and their implications on technology systems.

Experience:
The position requires a substantial level of experience, specifically a minimum of 8 years for candidates with a Master's degree or 10 years for those with a Bachelor's degree.
