Job Overview:
The position of Auxiliar de Programas IDM is crucial within the World Food Programme's operations in Colombia. The selected candidate will work under the supervision of the Program Associate for Management, Deduplication, Data Analytics, and Innovation, integrating into a multidisciplinary team of analysts and data management specialists. The role focuses on ensuring accurate and timely management of beneficiary information throughout all phases of program cycles. This includes processing, validating, monitoring, and detecting anomalies in data, as well as contributing to the establishment of strategies, policies, and procedures for data handling. The candidate will play a key role in supporting the implementation of data capture tools, ensuring compliance with corporate guidelines on privacy, security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security, and data management. The position also involves providing technical support and advice to various units within WFP, contributing to the analysis of beneficiary data, and participating in reconciliation processes to enhance operational efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the management of beneficiary information across all phases of WFP's program cycles in Colombia. Key responsibilities include: providing technical support and advice to area offices and units involved in beneficiary data management; assisting in basic data analysis and report preparation on beneficiaries assisted through various modalities; contributing to the implementation of data capture tools while ensuring data quality and compliance with corporate privacy and security guidelines; participating in assistance reconciliation processes, identifying inconsistencies, and preparing internal reports to improve operational traceability and efficiency; managing inter-institutional requests related to beneficiary information, including progress reports on ongoing projects; supporting the update of standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to beneficiary data control and distributions; engaging in self-directed learning through WFP's e-learning platform and sharing knowledge with colleagues; and fulfilling other requests from the coordinator related to the position.

Required Qualifications:
Minimum required qualifications include completion of secondary education. A technical or technological background in administration, systems engineering, industrial engineering, or related fields is desirable. Specific experience required includes at least three years of experience in processing personal data and using specialized IT platforms for data management. Knowledge in document management or process management, as well as report writing, is essential. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel is required. Additional desirable experience includes familiarity with applications for documenting processes and technologies for data visualization such as Tableau or PowerBI.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes the completion of secondary education. A technical or technological degree in areas such as administration, systems engineering, industrial engineering, or related fields is preferred, as it provides a solid foundation for the responsibilities associated with data management and analysis.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of three years of specific experience in processing personal data and utilizing specialized IT platforms for data management. This level of experience is essential to ensure that the candidate can effectively support the various functions related to beneficiary information management and contribute to the overall efficiency of WFP's operations in Colombia.

Languages:
Fluency in Spanish is mandatory for this position, as it is the primary language of communication within the organization and with beneficiaries. Basic fluency in English is desirable, as it may facilitate communication with international colleagues and access to global resources and training materials.

Additional Notes:
The contract duration for this position is four months, and it is classified at the SSA L3 level. The role is based in Bogotá, Colombia, but the WFP is also establishing a roster of qualified candidates for future opportunities in other cities where operational needs may arise.
