Job Overview: The Associate Technology Innovation Officer plays a crucial role in executing the World Bank Group's digital strategy and coordinating digital transformation initiatives that align with the organization's overarching goals. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement emerging technologies, redesign processes, and develop best practices aimed at identifying opportunities for digitization. The officer will engage in research and evaluation of emerging technologies and market trends to uncover digital business opportunities. Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Associate Technology Innovation Officer include leading the shift towards AI-first corporate operations by reimagining legacy business processes and user experiences. The officer will contribute to the execution of digital and technology-enabled innovation strategies aimed at enhancing organizational performance and competitiveness. This includes evaluating potential innovation initiatives for feasibility and impact, identifying risks associated with these initiatives, and collaborating with external organizations to leverage best practices in innovation. The officer will also monitor project progress to ensure alignment with organizational goals, promote a culture of creativity through workshops and events, and build partnerships that expand the impact of collaborative innovation efforts. Required Qualifications: Candidates for the Associate Technology Innovation Officer position must possess a Master's degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The role requires a strong understanding of AI-first process thinking, process mapping, and waste identification, as well as intelligent automation design and implementation. Candidates should be adept at supporting the rollout and adoption of AI tools across business functions and possess strategic capacity to improve productivity and efficiency. Familiarity with Agile product management principles is also essential.
Educational Background: The educational background required for this position includes a Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline. A Bachelor's degree may be acceptable if accompanied by significant relevant experience.
