Job Overview:
As a leader within the GEDI (Gender, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) Unit, the Senior GEDI Manager will play a pivotal role in translating the IRC's GEDI commitments into actionable strategies. Reporting directly to the Chief GEDI Officer, this position involves overseeing strategic planning and providing problem-solving support for various projects that align with the GEDI unit's top priorities. The Senior GEDI Manager will act as a thought partner to the Chief GEDI Officer, developing strategies for change management and ensuring effective delivery on the GEDI Action Plan. This role requires a deep understanding of organizational processes and the ability to integrate GEDI efforts across all departmental plans, ensuring that the IRC's commitments to equity and inclusion are embedded throughout the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Senior GEDI Manager will be responsible for spearheading the creation and ongoing optimization of the GEDI Action Plan dashboard, which includes tracking progress against key indicators and metrics. This role will also involve overseeing the timely coordination of comprehensive progress reports, such as Quarterly Status Review Reports (QSRR) and Delivery Letters. The manager will validate insights and recommendations from the GEDI team with senior stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making through structured meetings that address complex challenges. Additionally, the Senior GEDI Manager will oversee multiple complex projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes while managing project scope and resolving any arising roadblocks. Collaboration with various departments, including the Strategy Delivery Unit, will be essential to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency. The manager will also influence IRC leaders to integrate GEDI commitments into all organizational processes and support the Chief GEDI Officer in growing the Equality Hub, an organization-wide resource center. This includes leading the implementation of global GEDI initiatives and articulating the GEDI vision across the organization through effective internal communications.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field. Exceptional organizational skills, cross-functional project management abilities, and strong time-management skills are essential. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills with a proven ability to creatively solve complex problems. Comfort with leveraging data and AI-powered tools to drive efficiency and inform decision-making is crucial. A proven track record of advising stakeholders at all levels, particularly senior leadership, is required, along with strong meeting facilitation and presentation skills. The candidate should be highly collaborative, capable of working independently within a dynamic, cross-functional global team structure, and possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Familiarity with GEDI principles and practices, along with a commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion, is also necessary.

Educational Background:
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with a preference for candidates holding advanced degrees in areas such as social sciences, public policy, or international relations. Educational qualifications should reflect a strong foundation in the principles of gender, equity, diversity, and inclusion, as well as project management and organizational leadership.

Experience:
The position requires significant experience leading organizational GEDI and/or gender and inclusion strategies at a global scale. Candidates should have a strong track record of cross-departmental collaboration to achieve impactful goals and experience in leading and supporting change management efforts to embed and sustain an inclusive workplace culture.

Languages:
Fluency in English is required for this position. Proficiency in additional languages such as French, Arabic, or Spanish is considered a strong asset and will enhance the candidate's ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and communities.

Additional Notes:
The compensation for this position varies based on factors such as labor market conditions, job type, internal equity, and budget considerations. The US pay range for this role is between $106,500 and $112,461, while the UK pay range is between £65,785 and £76,74
