Job Overview: The position of Missions involves overseeing and coordinating all logistical, administrative, and financial functions of the Solidarités International mission to ensure the continuity and quality of programs. The role requires the implementation and adherence to internal procedures and donor requirements, budget management, and financial balance. The successful candidate will supervise purchases, inventory, vehicle and equipment management, cash flow, and security. Additionally, the role includes leading the support team, enhancing their capabilities, and ensuring operational and functional links between the headquarters and the mission. In the first two to three months, priorities will include supporting the implementation of a new accounting software (Business Central) and establishing electronic invoicing, as well as preparing budgets and monitoring the financial aspects of ongoing contracts while assisting teams with financial and logistical matters.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Logistics: - Manage procurement processes and supply chain operations. - Oversee the vehicle fleet, telecommunications equipment, and IT resources. - Maintain inventory management and stock levels. - Ensure the provision of logistical means for the safety of teams.
Administration and Finance: - Handle financial, accounting, and budget management. - Manage cash flow and treasury operations.
Management: - Provide functional supervision of the Logistics and Finance teams. - Train and evaluate team members. - Facilitate team meetings and discussions.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a diploma in logistics or finance at the BAC +3 level. Beyond formal education, significant experience in both logistics and finance is expected. Technical skills and experience include: - Logistics Management (minimum 2 years of experience): Experience in stock management, vehicle fleet oversight, IT and equipment management, and procurement procedures. Ability to advise and support logistics teams in purchasing strategies, rentals, and fleet management. - Budget Management (minimum 2 years of experience): Experience in budget preparation, budget monitoring, financial closures, and treasury management. - Compliance and Donor Procedures: Knowledge of internal and donor procedures, reporting, audit management, and production of financial and logistical reports.
Educational Background: A BAC +3 level diploma in logistics or finance is required for this position. This educational background should be complemented by practical experience in the relevant fields to ensure the candidate is well-prepared for the responsibilities of the role.
Experience: The position requires a minimum of two years of experience in logistics management and two years in budget management. Candidates should have a proven track record in managing logistics operations, financial oversight, and compliance with donor requirements, demonstrating their ability to handle the complexities of the role effectively.
Languages: Fluency in French is mandatory, and proficiency in English is also required. Additional language skills may be considered an asset but are not mandatory for this position.
Additional Notes: The position is based in the mission offices located in Marseille, France, and is offered as a permanent contract (CDI). The gross monthly salary ranges from €3,183 to €3,316, depending on experience. Employees are entitled to 2.0833 days of paid leave per month and one additional day off (RTT) for each complete month worked. Benefits include 80% coverage for health insurance, 60% coverage for meal vouchers, and 50% reimbursement for transportation costs.
