Duties and Responsibilities:
The International UN Volunteer will be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at maintaining and growing UNICEF LACRO's online community. Key responsibilities include:
  • Monitoring and analyzing the impact of digital channels, producing timely reports with regional KPIs, and providing recommendations for improving UNICEF's digital presence.
  • Keeping track of topics affecting children's rights in LAC, setting alerts for emerging issues, and leveraging opportunities for advocacy and communication initiatives.
  • Supporting the planning and execution of paid media strategies to engage key audiences on prioritized issues.
  • Managing UNICEF LACRO's social media channels, including content creation in various formats, moderation, and analyzing trends.
  • Updating and managing the UNICEF LACRO website on Drupal CMS, ensuring alignment with content quality assurance workflows and best practices.
  • Collaborating with other teams and Country Offices to develop joint digital activities and providing technical assistance as needed.

Required Qualifications:

They should have experience in content creation, analytics, and reporting, as well as familiarity with paid media strategies.
