Job Overview:
The position of Voluntario/a en Línea is focused on supporting the communications team in Bolivia by creating unique digital illustrations that align with the identity of UNV. This role is crucial for the development of an audiovisual piece that highlights the institutional memory of UN Volunteers in Bolivia. The illustrations must be innovative and creative, reflecting the inclusive, diverse, and transformative nature of volunteerism in the country. The volunteer will work closely with the team to ensure that the visual elements effectively communicate key messages in a visually appealing manner, thereby generating a lasting impact on the audience.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Voluntario/a en Línea will collaborate closely with the communications team to conceptualize and develop digital illustrations for an institutional audiovisual piece. Responsibilities include: • Designing original digital illustrations for use in video (animation or post-editing). • Creating visual pieces that represent the key messages of volunteerism in Bolivia. • Adapting illustrations to audiovisual formats (scenes, transitions, graphic resources). • Developing creative proposals that align with UNV's graphic line. • Collaborating with the team to build the visual concept of the video. • Ensuring visual coherence with the institutional identity and narrative.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a strong background in digital illustration and graphic design, with a portfolio showcasing their creative work. Familiarity with audiovisual production processes and the ability to adapt designs for various formats are essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are also required.

Educational Background:
A degree in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field is preferred. Candidates should have formal training or equivalent experience in digital illustration and design principles.

Experience:
Previous experience in creating digital illustrations for multimedia projects is highly desirable. Familiarity with volunteerism or non-profit work can be an advantage, as it provides context for the messages being conveyed through the illustrations.

Languages:
Fluency in Spanish is mandatory, as the role requires effective communication with the local team and understanding of the cultural context. Proficiency in English is a plus, as it may facilitate collaboration with international teams and resources.

This is a volunteer position, and while it may not offer financial compensation, it provides valuable experience in a global organization. The role may be part-time or full-time, depending on the availability of the volunteer and the needs of the project.
