Job Overview: The Data VisualizationAnalyst position is integral to the UNFPA-KOICA project aimed at enhancing gender equality, women's empowerment, and social cohesion in crisis-affected regions of Burkina Faso. The role focuses on improving data visualization and analysis to support evidence-based decision-making, accountability to donors, and effective communication of results to stakeholders. The analyst will work closely with various teams within the UNFPA Burkina Faso office to ensure the quality and accessibility of data, transforming complex information into clear and actionable insights. Duties and Responsibilities: The primary responsibilities of the Data Visualization Analyst include ensuring data quality and management by verifying the accuracy and consistency of data from various sources, identifying discrepancies, and implementing corrective measures. The analyst will support the harmonization of data collection tools and indicators, maintain project databases, and ensure structured archiving of data and reports. Additionally, the role involves collecting, processing, and analyzing program data to identify trends and performance gaps, producing periodic performance analyses, and developing key performance indicators. The analyst will design and maintain interactive dashboards using tools like Power BI and Tableau, create visualizations such as graphs and infographics, and translate complex information into understandable formats for decision-makers. Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Master's degree in statistics, demography, economics, mathematics, data science, information systems, public health, or a related field. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in the aforementioned areas with relevant professional experience is acceptable. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in data analysis, database management, data visualization, or information management is required. Experience in developing dashboards and visualizing data, particularly in international development or humanitarian projects, is highly desirable. Familiarity with donor-funded projects and knowledge in areas such as sexual and reproductive health, gender, and population development will be considered an asset. Proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) and statistical analysis software (advanced Excel, R, SPSS, Stata, or Python) is essential, along with experience in electronic data collection tools (ODK, SurveyCTO, Kobo, etc.) and relational databases (SQL). Strong communication skills, both written and oral, are necessary, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Additional Notes: The initial contract duration for the Data Visualization Analyst position is six (6) months, contingent upon the performance of the incumbent and the availability of funding.
