Job Overview: The position involves designing and delivering Trainings of Trainers (ToT) focused on electoral processes and democratic institutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing training curricula and materials that enhance the knowledge and skills of young people regarding state structures and their roles in democratization. The ToT program will consist of two rounds of three-day training courses, aimed at equipping participants with the necessary skills to facilitate dialogue and engage effectively in their communities. The role requires a commitment to fostering an inclusive training environment that encourages participation and addresses gender and disability sensitivities. Following the training, participants will be expected to conduct their own training sessions in their communities, thereby amplifying the impact of the program.
Duties and Responsibilities: The successful candidate will undertake a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: developing comprehensive training curricula and manuals on civic engagement, elections, and democratic institutions; organizing and facilitating two rounds of three-day ToT sessions across the country; facilitating networking opportunities among participants; moderating a nationwide conclusion seminar; ensuring visibility of the events through social media and other platforms; and preparing interim and final reports in accordance with OSCE reporting standards. The candidate will also be responsible for ensuring that all logistics for the training sessions are effectively managed and that the events are well-publicized to maximize engagement.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a university degree in relevant fields such as Law, Politics, Social Sciences, Education, Gender Studies, International Relations, or Media. A minimum of three years of professional experience in areas related to human rights, democratization, elections, and political affairs is required. Additionally, at least one year of experience in designing and implementing ToT programs and facilitating multi-stakeholder engagement is essential. Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills, as well as a commitment to gender awareness and sensitivity in their work.
Educational Background: A university degree in Law, Politics, Social Sciences, Education, Gender Studies, International Relations, Media, or other related fields is mandatory.
