Job Overview:
The position of Associado/a de Cerimonial e Eventos is crucial for the implementation of the Programa Justiça Plural, a partnership between the National Justice Council and UNDP aimed at strengthening the Brazilian judiciary's capacity to promote human rights and access to justice for vulnerable populations. The role involves managing ceremonial and event-related activities, ensuring quality and results in collaboration with CNJ and UNDP teams. The associate will be responsible for logistical and operational management of events, including workshops, seminars, and webinars, while also supporting the overall implementation of the program. This position requires a proactive approach to ensure that all events align with the program's objectives and timelines, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage all activities related to the ceremonial and production of events for the Programa Justiça Plural, including acting as a master of ceremonies when applicable.
  • Organize documentation for events, including traveler registrations and forms.
  • Coordinate meetings with involved teams to ensure all ceremonial, logistical, and operational aspects are aligned.
  • Guide participants on post-event accountability procedures in collaboration with the PNUD Project Management Unit.
  • Ensure actions are aligned with event schedules and objectives in collaboration with the program's general coordination.
  • Execute and manage logistics for formative events, including participant registration and direct interface with facilitators and speakers.
  • Conduct procurement processes for necessary services and materials for events.
  • Monitor and manage budgets related to activities and events.
  • Ensure availability for national and international travel and provide administrative support for project implementation. 1
  • Plan, execute, monitor, and evaluate activities and events in coordination with the program's general coordination. 1
  • Maintain organized and updated records and documentation. 1
  • Support institutional communication activities related to events and knowledge management initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
Minimum education requirement includes a completed high school diploma. A university degree in Administration, International Relations, Communication, Social Sciences, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates must have a minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience in ceremonial and event production, operational preparations, and participant management, or 4 years if holding a university degree. Desired skills include proficiency in information technology and MS Office, experience in organizing events involving public authorities, human rights events, and logistical management of training courses and events.

Educational Background:
Candidates must possess at least a high school diploma, with preference given to those holding a university degree in relevant fields such as Administration, International Relations, Communication, or Social Sciences. This educational background is essential for understanding the complexities of event management and the operational needs of the program.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience in event management and ceremonial duties for candidates with a high school diploma, or 4 years for those with a university degree. Experience should include organizing events, managing logistics, and working with diverse stakeholders, particularly in the context of human rights and public sector events.

Languages:
Fluency in Portuguese is mandatory, while basic proficiency in English and Spanish is desirable. This linguistic capability is essential for effective communication within the diverse context of the program and its stakeholders.

The position is remote, with a preference for candidates residing in the Federal District. The role involves full-time commitment and may require national and international travel.
