Candidates should have a strong understanding of child protection issues and youth engagement strategies, particularly in the context of humanitarian crises. Relevant coursework or training in these areas will be beneficial for the volunteer's success in this role.

Experience:
While prior experience in child protection or humanitarian work is not mandatory, any relevant volunteer or internship experience will be considered an asset. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to the challenges of working in a complex humanitarian environment. Experience in community engagement or working with youth will also be advantageous.

Languages:

Knowledge of Arabic or other local languages spoken in Sudan would be considered a valuable asset, enhancing the volunteer's ability to engage with community members and stakeholders effectively.
