Job Overview:
In this role, you will assist the Ile-de-France Coordinator in the daily management of the base. Your responsibilities will include supporting the Coordinator in monitoring the context and external representation and communication. You will organize and participate in external meetings, prepare meeting reports, and engage in specific contextual monitoring for your geographical area. Additionally, you will help draft and revise internal and external communication tools, support the organization of multi-stakeholder external communication and advocacy events, and assist in the administrative and logistical management of the base according to ACF procedures and tools. You will also track the needs for the operation of the base and projects, make necessary purchases, record expenses in accounting, and ensure proper archiving of supporting documents. Furthermore, you will manage volunteers when necessary, participate in the implementation of base activities, actively engage in team meetings, and prepare updates for the monthly team meeting minutes. Under the supervision of project managers, you may also participate in various activities depending on workload and needs, such as supporting logistical organization, briefing surveys, coordinating volunteers during activities, conducting field surveys, and meeting with partners. You will also contribute to transversal work on the mission and activities related to the right to food.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct specific contextual monitoring for the designated geographical area.
  • Support the drafting and revision of internal and external communication tools.
  • Help organize multi-stakeholder external communication and advocacy events.
  • Assist in the administrative and logistical management of the base, adhering to ACF procedures.
  • Monitor operational needs for the base and projects, executing necessary purchases.
  • Record expenses in accounting and ensure proper documentation archiving.

Required Qualifications:
We are looking for a committed candidate with a master's degree in management, project management, social/médico-social fields, law, political sciences, or local/territorial development. The ideal candidate should demonstrate project management skills, exhibit rigor, organization, and flexibility. Strong interpersonal and writing skills are essential, along with proficiency in Excel, the Office suite, and basic graphic design tools like Canva. Experience in network facilitation, actor coordination, associative engagement, or support for vulnerable individuals is highly valued. Knowledge of food security, monitoring and evaluation, social action, or food democracy is a plus, as is experience in advocacy. A valid driver's license (permis B) is appreciated. The candidate should possess strong analytical, synthesis, written, and oral communication skills, with an interest in administrative, financial, logistical aspects, as well as design, graphic arts, and communication. A keen awareness of issues related to vulnerability in France and the role of associations, along with familiarity or a desire to learn about the Île-de-France region and its engaged associative fabric against poverty, is crucial.

Educational Background:
A master's degree in relevant fields such as management, project management, social/médico-social studies, law, political sciences, or local/territorial development is required for this position. This educational background is essential to ensure the candidate possesses the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills to effectively contribute to the organization's mission and objectives.

Experience:
Candidates should have relevant experience in project management, network facilitation, or coordination of actors. Experience in associative engagement or support for vulnerable populations is highly desirable. Familiarity with food security, monitoring and evaluation, social action, or advocacy work will be considered an asset. The level of experience should align with the responsibilities outlined in the job description, demonstrating the ability to manage tasks effectively and contribute to the organization's goals.

Languages:
Fluency in French is mandatory for this position, given the location and the nature of the work. Proficiency in English or other languages would be considered a valuable asset, enhancing communication capabilities within the organization and with external partners.

Additional Notes:
This position is offered as an apprenticeship contract only, with a duration of 12 months. The desired work rhythm is 3 days per week in the office and 2 days of remote work. The workplace is located in Montreuil. Salary is based on the legal minimum, adjusted according to age and level of education, distributed over 13 months. Employees are entitled to 21 days of RTT (reduced working time) prorated based on presence, and 25 days of paid leave, also prorated. Health coverage and insurance are provided, with 80% covered by ACF. Transportation costs are reimbursed at 50% for the commute between home and work. Employees receive meal vouchers with 60% coverage by the organization (valued at 8 euros) and an annual benefit of 175 euros for social works, along with discounts on cinema tickets. Remote work is possible. Additional conditions include prolonged sitting, oral communication, screen work, and occasional travel within Île-de-France.
