Job Overview:
The Partnership Technical Officer position is crucial for supporting the implementation of NRC's partnership approach. This role involves contributing to various aspects of partner management, including partner identification, due diligence assessments, agreement management, and capacity strengthening. The officer will play a key role in ensuring that partnerships are effectively managed and that partners are supported in their implementation of humanitarian programs. The position requires a strong understanding of partnership dynamics, compliance requirements, and the ability to coordinate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. The officer will also be responsible for maintaining standardized information management systems for partnership documents and ensuring proper documentation of all partnership-related processes in accordance with NRC standards. This role is essential for enhancing the quality and impact of NRC's programs through effective partner engagement and support.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Partnership Technical Officer will have a comprehensive set of responsibilities, including but not limited to: conducting partner assessments such as due diligence and risk analysis; managing standardized information systems for partnership documents; ensuring proper filing and documentation of partnership processes; monitoring partner performance and compliance; contributing to partner capacity strengthening plans; supporting coordination and communication with partners and internal stakeholders; implementing NRC's partnership strategy at the country level; maintaining partnership trackers and stakeholder mapping tools; managing the Partnership SharePoint site; monitoring compliance with NRC and donor requirements; supporting the development and follow-up of partnership agreements; organizing partner meetings and workshops; and consolidating partnership data for reporting and analysis. The officer will also carry out any other tasks relevant to the function as delegated by the line manager.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the Partnership Technical Officer position should possess a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in partnerships, program support, or project implementation within humanitarian or development contexts. Experience working with national or local partners and civil society organizations (CSOs) is essential. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required. Candidates should have a solid understanding of partnership approaches and localization, as well as familiarity with compliance, due diligence, and risk management processes. Strong organizational and coordination skills are necessary, along with experience in data tracking, documentation, and reporting. Good communication and interpersonal skills are also important for this role.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for the Partnership Technical Officer position includes a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
