Job Overview:
The Microsoft Productivity & Cloud Engineer position at WWF is a critical role that involves supporting, optimizing, and evolving Microsoft 365 productivity and cloud services for WWF-US and its Country Offices. This position requires a blend of deep technical expertise and strong cultural and linguistic fluency, enabling the engineer to provide regionally aligned support while contributing to global standards, governance, and continuous improvement. The role is essential for enhancing collaboration and productivity across various teams and ensuring that the organization's technological infrastructure meets the needs of its diverse operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Microsoft Productivity & Cloud Engineer include:
  • Supporting and optimizing the administration of Microsoft 365 productivity services, including Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
  • Designing solutions for staff workflows using advanced Microsoft tools such as Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Partnering with regional teams to improve the adoption and effective use of collaboration tools.
  • Providing localized guidance and support in both English and Spanish.
  • Managing user accounts and identity management, ensuring alignment with least-privilege principles.
  • Supporting onboarding, offboarding, and role-change processes for staff and contractors.
  • Collaborating with U.S.-based IT teams to ensure consistency with enterprise architecture.
  • Monitoring service health and proactively identifying risks or service degradation.
  • Participating in incident response and business continuity planning. 1
  • Maintaining operational documentation and knowledge base content in English and Spanish. 1
  • Evaluating new Microsoft 365 features and assessing regional readiness and impact. 1
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
The required qualifications for the Microsoft Productivity & Cloud Engineer position include:
  • A degree in IT or a related field is highly preferred.
  • Verbal and written fluency in English and Spanish is required.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience supporting Microsoft 365 productivity services in an enterprise environment.
  • Hands-on experience with administering Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and user identity management.
  • Strong understanding of collaboration workflows between SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
  • Experience working in a global or multi-country organization is strongly preferred.

Educational Background:
Candidates for the Microsoft Productivity & Cloud Engineer position should ideally possess a degree in Information Technology or a related field.
